Pretty straight-forward really. Washington Green signed artist, Alex Millar, has directly reproduced an image of L.S.Lowry standing in Salford to create the popular print 'You Take The High Road'.
Except maybe for an industrial chimney in the middle of the river.
As someone who believes in credit where it's due, this photograph is used on the cover of the book 'Lowry's City', by Judith Sandling and Mike Leber.
This kind of thing is fodder for youthoughtwewouldntnotice.com. As they say, "Maybe It Was The Night Before, Maybe You're Just Not The Creative Type..."
Alex's print is sold out from the publisher, retailing at £1,495 over it's 99 editions.
